Angel's egg (天使のたまごTenshi no Tamago) the OVA follows the daily life of a girl, whose name is never revealed, that jealously guards an egg of unknown content in a world surreal, post - apocalyptic perhaps in darkness and where apparently no one lives. She occupies her time collecting bottles by the city and filling them with water. It then meets a man who comes mounted in a caravan of machines and a gun - shaped cross on his back. The man starts to follow, and a moment later she realizes that he has lost the egg keeping, the man appears and then give it back. He asks what's in it.She does not answer the question and then he tells her she should break to find out. She asks then do not follow one after promise and not do anything to egg.
